This, to me, is undoubtedly the better version of the chapter. It feels more wholesome and normal compared to the other version since black bars usually are used to cover actual nudity, which has caused the bar itself to be perceived as suggestive. I found the other version to be weird and jarring, suggesting something that shouldn't belong in what has been such a wholesome manga so far.

Do I think that it validates the way you acted? Not really. Yes unnecessary censorship is cringe and you're absolutely free to express your opinion on it, but you ended up flooding the comments with your complaints.

The translators preferred working with the black bar version, we really should be thankful they bothered to translate the chapter in the first place, not harassing them over something so trivial. It's disappointing, but if they don't feel comfortable translating the non-blackbar version, then they don't HAVE to.

Yes, i do it for every work i found censored, but not from the publisher, you can't do anything about it if the source material is censored to begin with, the problem is when the censorship is made in the west.
Sure this is not a ecchi comic, but is not the content the issue, is the principle. Nothing should be censored, even if you found it not worth to fight for or if you think that is not important for the story. The author put efford in drawing it, so i want to read any part of it as in original.
In this case there is a choice, aka two version of this comic exist, the english scanlator decided for the censored version, cause some members are scared of anime lolis (see some replies in the censored chapter forum), so i critcized that choice.
In the end i'm happy they release it uncut, this is good that we have a choice.

They're more or less the worst raws you can get, regardless of censorship or not. I mean, this is just a retranslated version of the previous scanlation one of the group members made solo. The black squares were there too, and there wasn't nearly as much complaints.

Now that I see it uncensored I'm wondering why it was censored to begin with? Not that I agree with censorship ever, but since it was censored on a site with porn on it I thought the uncensored version at least had like borderline uncensored loli body with the only thing not shown is like smoked up nipples and crotch.

BUT THIS VERSION LITERALLY SHOWS NOTHING! I think the most sexualized thing is the single panel where you can barely see a butt cheek line when she's in his arms and that's it. It's genuinely disturbing the level of tourism the anime/manga scene has allowed and accepted. We're uploading chapters to mangadex, there's way worse stuff on here including way worse stuff with loli's. This series isn't pornographic and they heavily censored the girls body in the original to begin with.
