I'm happy we are finally continuing the main plot, but does that mean the original manga is officially cancelled now? It was "in-hiatus" last I checked, but is there any reason to go back to it now that Rebellion is telling the story?

The first series was serialized in a different magazine, and since it reportedly went on a hiatus due to a disagreement with that magazine's staff, I guess the creator figured they might as well feature a conclusion in Rebellion.

It ended already. Author was tired of them telling to tone it down, so he ditched the og manga and looked for another magazine that will say yes to all his whims, and launched a sequel because he probably can't resume w/ the old title.

Resuming it at this point would be pointless. As we can see with the translated chapters, Win is now watching the continuation of the original manga's events through the memory world.

Even Mashiro is not safe. What worse, a random bastard, not even the boss. Feel like author just hates women in general. Or maybe now she is demoted to a side character instead of the protagonist, so making her lose isn't a big deal? I don't know, just never feel anything from all the main of this "spin-off", so this decision really makes me lose interest. Sure, Win can heal any injury, but not the trauma. And remember this is a memory, so either Deus ex machina saved her, or she would be beyond broken like most girls in this story (pretty sure the boss could do mindbreak in one of the extra in the original), which would be pretty disappointed.

What exactly is dark Mashiro? She could even transfer her cloths. If she did that earlier, Mashiro wouldn't have to run around everywhere naked.

Actually, it's not a random bastard. It's actually the four-eyed creepy bastards who lusts after Mashiro since the very first chapter.

Yeah I reread a bit and figured who he is. Still, this is probably humiliated even more lol. Some people even suspect the manga will follow the web novel closely, then it will be even more disappointed, to me at least, since it would make the original series pointless imo. Like I tolerated that series for nothing lol.

Web novel? It's based on a web novel?

How did the web novel end?

No, I reread that comment on the main thread and it looks like the web novel is more of a "what if" scenario, maybe the scenes that got rejected in the original series. Though at this point I'm not surprised if the plot could actually go that way, just a bit late now.

I mean, Win is the protagonist now, so Mashiro gets gang'd and subdued to the pregnant machine isn't out of question. I'm just uttterly disappointed if it actually happens.

You mean those things where the girls have their limbs stuck in a machine while being fucked and knocked up? Oh boy. Though at least she wouldn't be dead and Win could still rescue her, right?
