You're free to hate it if you want. You're kind of stretching acting like it's unusual for high school girls to not be completely ignorant and indifferent to sexual things, or calling a girl a "wh#re" just because she's sexually active with her boyfriend and unashamed of her personal interests. And you're reaching a ton taking something that's within a broad genre with lots of variants and trying to dismiss it as a "carbon copy".

But what concerns me most right now is, why the heck aren't we getting any new chapters? It's pretty clear that this series wasn't part of the DMCA, and new chapters have been uploaded in other places, so are the translators not submitting chapters here anymore?

Spotted it recently. Real pity. Looks like MMNN and several other works by Yamamoto are still up with no problem, but this and several other great series (translated by other people) stopped getting updated here. Meanwhile the other places I know to get the material have poor interfaces and tendencies toward popups.

Is it true that the manga has ended? A number of websites imply that the story ended around volume two or so, but when I found the raws for volume two, it was clearly advertising the release of volume three.

Considering I see no indication of that in the newest release from this month's Gessan (the magazine it's published in), I find it highly unlikely.
