my reflexive fear that the joke'd be "muscles + frills = haha gays exist" like older series was avoided, and now there's a t-rex. this series somehow didn't immediately crash and burn after introducing the coolest guy in the world, even though introducing the coolest guy in the world usually means everyone else sucks forever in comparison
