Being an adult doesn't mean growing up, it just means no one can tell you to go to bed instead of playing video games all night (even if your body starts to hate you for it).
I would say it means going to bed even if you don't want to because of the responsibilities you have the next day.

If the coffee is bitter, it means you oversteeped the grinds. A good black coffee has a sweet side to balance out the bitterness.
Normally I agree, if I drink a cup or two during the day it'll be a nice smooth Arabica. But at breakfast it's different, I slurp a big mug of strong Robusta. It's much more bitter, but it's also better at getting my lazy large intestine to do its bloody job and get the waste out. Also, the huge amount of coffein wakes me up extremely effectively.

I still remember when my dad let me try some of his coffee for the first time. It was really disappointing, I've never had a coffee that lives up to the smell.
That's a good ass movie right there. I'm pretty sure it's the first movie I can remember seeing in theaters. It was either that or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II.

Or the roast... A lot of JP cafe tend to use very dark roast. You have to look for newer cafe that will follow the trend of lighter roast. I once visited one that roast their own bean and they roasted it quite dark

A S'bucks manager once told me this: part of the reason for the popularity of dark roasts is that coffee companies can buy a variety of lower-quality beans, after the good stuff has been picked out. If you roast the crap out of it, you can't tell what variety it is or how good the beans are. Month to month, the kinds of beans in their dark roast would change based on supply. It was a cost-cutting decision.
