MC must be an ace of the team
Thank you for the TL
My guess is he was indeed the ace of the team, they became too dependent, the pressure made it drudgery, and he probably missed an important shot (hinted at here) so he quit. That would be the normal trope. That was… confusing…
Girl talk about basketball as if she was doing it regularly, all casual.
Boy react as if it was the biggest land mine for him, get frustrated and uncomfortable.
Girl doesn’t react to him, continue talking all casual and carefree, while all the other people present get awkward… And she basically act as if he still regularly help her practicing?
If he do, why? If he don’t, why does she assume he would? I feel like there’s something missing in this adaptation, like things were only changed halfway?
Don't worry we know who the female lead is, she was being a little to pushy it was clearly uncomfortable topic for himman, why did this have to go straight into drama after introducing harem, its like its going down my list of things i dont want in my romance stories
Yeah the villainess stuff is basically fake feels like a title grab to get fans who enjoy villainess stuff, stick around when it's not that. Yeah it's clear childhood friends like him but they have 0 chance so why botherthe 'villainess' part seems largely irrelevant given how quickly they gelled together, I dont know why even have the childhood friend characters.
