I do get the reasons you need to cut in chapters but.. 11 pages are well too few. couldn't it be bumped up to 15 pages at least? please?

Releases aside, that felt super rushed. One swing, one page of exploration, found the girls and then immediate cut to the aftermath through exposition.
That's some really lazy storytelling for the amount of build up to this point.

Putting that aside, does anyone else think it sus how the vamp was saving those girls for later?

MENTION THE WEIRDNESS DUDE. THEY ALL TRUST YOU SO TALK TO THEM ABOUT HOW YOU FELT THAT WAS TOO EASY
The vampire probably converted a guy as a distraction and one or more of the hostages or is hidden among them or something

Chances are, there are more and stronger vampires. You should really speak up, dude.

Not just about your suspicions, but like...put your foot down against that captain backing out of her end of the bargain. Idk. Threaten to harm her subordinates or something. It's not like you actually have to follow through and she's sweet on you enough to not report it to anyone.

... So does the chapter have a part 3? Cuz this is a similarly shitty cliffhanger.

He works as a gatekeeper yet he's incapable of reporting his findings and observations. Maybe he should find another profession, as he's clearly not suited for his current one.

THIS holy shit this.

This manga has been fun so far but MC 100% is in his head wayyyy too much and causes/will cause miscommunication issues in the long run if he doesn’t change. Which is like, a primary issue in so many mangas.

“Something’s bothering you, isn’t it?”
“…You figured that out pretty well.”
“Of course, I did. After all, you’re my husband.”

Kaguya smiled as she said this.

“I don’t remember getting married… but you’re right, something is bothering me.”
“Hmm… and what might that be?”
“Well, it’s just a vague feeling right now… I’m still thinking about it.”

The image that comes to mind is of the hostages.
They were locked up as a reserve supply. I agree with that assessment.
But, it still bothers me.

“Hehe, even when you’re deep in thought, you’re wonderful.”
“Don’t tease me… I’m seriously thinking about this.”
<snip>
‘…It’s probably best to ask the church about the vampires.’

I wanted to believe the case was resolved.
However, if there’s even a slight possibility that something was amiss, it would be wise to investigate further.

Above is a snippet from this/next chapter, the internal monologue of MC from WN.
It's manga-editor induced trope idiocy. The WN actually addressed this somewhat.

Manga doesn't have a way to show internal monologuing.
So what appears to "make sense" in the authors head as words on page -- falls apart on manga storyboard.
That's also fault or original author forgetting to envision scenes where people talk and interact like normal people.
Regardless of what is going on in their heads -- people still verbalize and communicate.

I blame split chapters and poor format conversion. As MC is actually thinking things through.
Although that trope of "women only being on screen to narrate about guy offscreen" trope is stupid.
