Note: This is an insane chapter. We've jumped to the present day, Shuuzo Oshimii inside the manga! I can understand why he was drawing abstract things for a year on Twitter now. And I can see why he doesn't even want to do proper panel outlines or standard manga font for the words... It's sad. But that took a toll on me; I left out a bunch of panels with 't/l' remarks instead of typesetting the translation because I frankly had no way of making out the scribblings. As you know, I'm not an actual translator. Manga Ghoul just delivers okayish translation in between before an actual translation group picks up the pace. So, I want you all to forgive me for the drop in quality

As for the chapter, wow! I know how Oshimi feels. It sucks when you're surrounded by things that do make you happy, but depression kind of doesn't care about that.
I really hope Oshimi has been seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist!

A "name" is basically a manga/one shot sketch. Something you draw and then show your editor before turning it into another series.

I think that drawing in this abstract style, conveying so much in some messy lines, is a lot harder than doing something realistic...

i keep seeing this, and, despite being an oshimi fan for almost 10 years now, i'm still blanking on the joke
am i crazy? is it just referencing seiichi's meat or read bean bun choice from BOTT? it's been 3-6 years since i last read that. was there an authors note where he fucks a baozi or something?! please. this joke is driving me mad.

Yeah, from chi no wadachi/BOTT, oshimi likes to put in personal stuff inside his series, so it might be something personal that might get referenced in this series or just nothing. The meat bun thing was with the weird mom in that series. Sad that series got nuked here (just checked).

considering we're into adulthood now i have my doubts. i imagine he did have a similar experience in reality
