I've not actually read the novels yet (though all the griping via spoilers here makes me feel like I have to an extent), so I don't know who you mean - but I'm sure we'll get there eventually. Mostly when I say "stay a loner" I mean "don't fucking go crawling back to the authors waifu", so if there's other awesome characters in the pipeline that aren't affiliated with Sasha & Co, then I'm down to get to that bit of the narrative whenever.

I on the other hand want him to help her and destroy the turtle by himself just to push her some more into despair. She pushed away the strongest S rank, we can easily say SSS rank, she should feel how it is to be the weak one now that needs to be saved by him.

As for him staying a loner, and the elf girl following him, i also wouldn't mind it being a bit longer, but honestly i can't wait to see the other 2 S rank girls. Just to see Sasha getting triggered even more lol

it must be hurt her ego that MC is better than her, either in strength or moral by not abandoning people like her. just add the chef kiss that that for all help she gave before kicking him out. now he own nothing from her and stop approaching him.

I honestly would be fine if he wasn't focused on "revenge" toward her in that way. Just outright ignoring her and his former party members and doing his own thing would be kinda ideal - then, if any of them give him flak for it, he can just say "you considered me weak and kicked me out. Why are you mad that I'm not helping you now?"

That forces them into the position of either having to solve the problem themselves since "they're so strong and high-rank and he's just the weakling they kicked out", or - and this is the operative bit - they have to swallow their pride and ask him for help.

The way Sasha says “I’ll leave the demon to Hyce and I’ll focus on the turtle” just shows that she already respects Hyce’s newfound power and recognizes his strength. I don’t think there’s any pride to swallow for her and she’d be happy to ask for his help.
