I know that MCs like this one are written as bland as possible so the main target demographic can self-insert, but they went too far with this one.... this guy has the personality of wet toilet paper, his head is full of air, and he is the quintessential example for "nice guy syndrome" (he literally gets everything: power, rewards, love from literally everyone even animals by just being the "nice guy"). This kinda feels like the wet dream of a bullied teenage boy.

My .02.
1) in spite of this being so cliche, that cliche isn't an adequate description, this isn't all bad, but (see 4).
2) "jack of all trades"? no. jack of whatever "trade" he "just so happens to have available, just when he needs that particular trade." he needs to build a house for himself? he just so happened to level up and carpenter was available. he needs to build a house for a miko? he leveled up and "divine carpenter" was available. he can make a stone axe that is more durable and sharper than a steel axe. without having "stone working" as a trade.
3) all the protagonists are MAGAt dumb. you know, no matter how many times they have reality shoved under their noses, they ignore reality and believe whatever they want to believe.
4) 26 chapters in and it's getting old. no matter how many times he shows he can beat anyone and everyone, every time, 99% of his class mates don't trust him or think he's "trash". unless this gets some kind of major revamp, it's a "not recommended" for me.

No shade towards whoever's translating this but in case they ever see this I hope they drop this one. No complaints regarding their handiwork, quite literally the opposite, but their talents are wasted translating this garbage.

If I give this the benefit of the doubt I guess this is meant to be more humor than anything else. I'm just not sure who finds this funny.

The entire plot hinges on the tropey 'misleading status screen' that implies MC is trash. So everyone gets sorted into one of two groups - harem of girls who quickly pledge themselves to MC the moment they see MC doing anything, and everyone else who can't comprehend that 'trash MC' is actually a mary sue.

In other words, everything boils down to MC having a fawning harem while everyone else looks dumb for not recognizing he's literally a master of anything he tries. Well, and worse, the antagonists all go out of their way to try and humiliate him which of course just backfires and makes them look even dumber.

One special note - the Mary Sue ability that lets MC master everything supposedly didn't make him a master from the start, but the way this story is set up he magically masters whatever skills he needs 5 minutes before he actually needs it. Which just reinforces that everything is contrived to protect him from any true adversity. The saving grace is that compared to the rest of the male cast, his (relatively) normal behavior makes him slightly more sympathetic than the always-envious idiots.

I see why the situation came to be after the latest chapters. Initially I thought they all hated him since it's a trash story.

However, it is revealed in chapter 30 and 31 that everyone had a somewhat bad view of him since his charm stat was only 1. This led to him being hated by everyone. After he raised it, stuff may change

Honestly I think the author really sold here cause the idea of having only dexterity and no other stat is really good since dexterity can be used in interesting ways to outskill those with higher stats using good foresight and improvisation its a stat that is infinitely useful as long as you get creative with it.

Then I looked at the description and this author was like "nah how about the mc just be better than everyone" like wth

Still gonna read it though dumpster fires are always a good laugh

edit: I take it back it wasn't even a good laugh, read the first chapter and it immediately contradicted itself, saying he's average in academics and sports then he has a status way below average? He is just broken their is no conflict no challenge for the mc no development. I'll keep reading but if it proves me wrong I'll be back
