We have heard a few times over the whole manga that his advancement through the ranks has been something never seen before. Normally it would have taken generations. It would have been some other noble. Probably an old, fat, faceless ntr-doujin man.

I may have mislabeled the title, and I'm definitely recalling something years old so wires may have crossed. I don't care enough to hunt down my foggy memory beyond it being associated with some fated lovers bit.
