You can still upload your version of 43 if it's better than the one we got, you know. There's no rule against duplicate translations of chapters; that seems to be a common misconception (back when I commissioned chapter 14, I was DM'd by another user who thought the same thing)

I'll make sure keep that in mind from now on.

I miss super detailed backgrounds. It used to be a whole job, drawing background scenery, buildings, proper screen tones for lighting, but those days are seemingly gone post digital.

Comics like Ducktale or Berserk engrossed me as a kid , I would spend hours looking in the background as a kid, looking at all the detail. Transmetropolitian and watchmen being other great examples. It was literal world building. Someone spent a ridiculous amount of effort to flesh out this world with tiny details.

I honestly just finished both today and was going to take my time the very next day to fix all the errors on both 43 & 44. Then I noticed Chpt 43 already there. Which I admit annoyed me a bit.

I actually really like it when a work has multiple TLs. Language and culture aren't exactly 1-to-1 ya? Seeing the many different ways someone can TL a work is fascinating to me.

Well, it has been established pretty well that if it's not a plainly evil god that religion is worshipping, it's at least an extremely uncaring one. Like a god of war or a god of profit, or something, that has no room for extra emotions aside from what it promotes, by any means necessary. The church does maintain some public facades because a level of civil order is needed to have a country operate at all. But it's fully rotten inside. The hero, naturally, is like the apex of what the church behind him represents.
