So what I'm getting is, she was jelous that wakaba didn't pine for her the way she pined for some guy. She steals him away just so she could dump him. You don't date a guy that chose your friend over you after she's done with him. It's kind of weird. Competition eliminated and it also is a petty form of revenge. You hurt me so I hurt you kind of thing. It further serves the purpose of making wakaba hate her as well. Win/win.

Toxic yuri is pretty interesting

At most I would only call Komaki a huge coward even with how insane her actions seemed this chapter. But even that feels kind of unfair since she kept true to her decision/conviction even after wavering. Confessing isn't really her ultimate goal either, she just wants to stay with Wakaba in some capacity (even if that is her deceiving herself).

She is in love with Wakaba but is so far gone in her believe that Wakaba couldn't ever love her (or another girl) back that sunk cost fallacy hit her like a truck- and then there is that other girl Wakaba is really close with which causes plain jealousy.

There clearly was this other and better option that Komaki was starting to acknowledge and act on but the whiplash and relapse hit hard because of what she believed to be absolute seemingly not being absolute at all (even if not the case).
If you look past their toxic dynamic (that both of them enable in some ways) she is the average misguided and foolish high school girl throwing a tantrum this chapter (none of that excuses some of the stuff she did tho)
