I'm kinda surprised to anyone at this point who is surprised by references to SA in this series... Komaki has been SA'ing Wakaba since literally the first chapter. If you can't say no then you cannot consent. It's that simple.

I don't hate the ending being 'good' for the main characters but, yeah. Reading this series has been selectively tuning out its worst moments in an effort to actually like the main ship. Part of me mightve been hoping for Komaki to beg forgiveness or something only for Wakaba to pick Matsuri and therefore someone who actually respects her. But this ending has been clearly telegraphed since the beginning. So I guess all thats left is to see how the author wraps it up.

It feels like it's just toxic to force some form of connection in the story, but also tries to be a "wholesome" romance and they're honestly conflicting..
There's virtually zero reason for mc to love Komaki, but she does, just because, makes all the drama almost feel like a comedic form of S&M, as a reader i really can't find a reason to sympathise with Komaki

This perfectly breaks down what I feel about this manga. The premise was pretty good and engaging but Wakaba loving her out of nowhere after getting SA'd so much?

Don't get me wrong, Toxic yuri is fine, Flowerchild's latest work is a prime exemple on how to touch consent and feelings of love/loneliness, but this manga is still leaving a bad after taste for me. I'm very impatient to see how Komaki and Wakaba will work out as lovers; I think it's gonna get better and more on par with what the author is trying to make us feel here

I enjoy toxic yuri just as much as anyone else but for some reason I just cant enjoy this series.

I think its because, unlike other toxic yuri mangas, both people arent shitty, weird, crazy, or problematic as the other one. Like the only fault Wakaba has is just she's stupid. Wakaba is just a naive innocent victim that sweeps all this under the rug and is like "all of this is acceptable, even if you continue to abuse me, because I love you"
