I recently read The Young Villainess Sees Through It All and The Red Knight Seeks No Reward... and WTF?

These fmcs have (or soon get):
1: lots of power (political power for Young Villainess, physical for Red Knight)
2: reliable, skilled, and trustworthy people by their side
and most importantly,
3: knowledge of the future

so WHY in the GODDAMN are they so FUCKING passive to external threats??

you know WHO the bad guy is, you know WHAT they'll do,
you know WHEN they'll do it, and their villian monologue tells you WHY they did it...

SO ACT ON THAT GOD GIVEN KNOWLEDGE IN A PROACTIVE MANNER AND ELIMINATE THE THREATS TO YOUR PHYSICAL WELLBEING!!!!!!! IS IT THAT FUCKING HARD TO TAKE THE INITIATIVE??????

(this is a general theme in regressor-fantasy-fmc manhwas imo that i'd like to get off my chest)

The authors want to eat the cake with having overpowered self insert MCs for their audiences wish fulfillment, while still have it afterwards, not having their story to suffer from the fact that their abilities would choke any potential conflict as a logical conclusion.
Thus they harebrain everyone to get to inane line of reasonings so the evils can appear threathening until contact with the MC

the problem is that there are a billion of these shoujo/josei manhwas like this

I couldn't help but read it as a real life politics and history rant of Korea, they've never been good with threats or wars.

But a phd might be needed to follow everything that happens in the story. Maybe reading the novel help to grasp and understand everything more easily.
