That's surprising, I always hear people say the adaption was abysmal. But the only dating-sim like part is Extra, Unlimited and Alternative don't focus on that. By the way, who are your favorite characters? So far mine in Extra was Sumika and Meiya, Unlimited it was Ayamine and Yuuko.

Ooh! Those are pretty cool.

The one thing I can say about it as an anime, is that its phenomenal. People may think it was a bad adaption, but I never did. I do agree its not as good as the other series, but its still very good. Much better than competing series like Gundam Wing IMO.

The show had fantastic views from beginning to end.

My favorite characters were Takeru and Meiya. And Kasumi.
