This would go so much better if they wore updated costumes instead of replicas of their originals.
Love Souko and Ayumi's eyes in the double page spread.

you do understand that it is the "relic of ancient times" (pre-pandemic,basically) that is the appeal of the whole gig, right

Mentally stable Souko is so precious! :glee:
Mainly because it's so rare.

What really baffles me is Ayumi. We all know that Souko is a lost case, gone off the deep end. But Ayumi seems to be more well put together. So why is she also lusting after high schooler meat so badly?

She's a porn producer so it can't be purely a sex thing.

I have my theories but I'd like to hear yours.
I think she's envious how loyal yuusei is, like beyond philial love, he's the loyal fan of them

And would Sayuri come next? We still miss two first lovers members too

I'll just leave this here.

That too.

I had theorized that Yuusei represents an idealized, positive side of the idol fandom. He's earnest, caring, actually supportive and best of all, not an entitled little shit.

He's the sort of fan Ayumi would have actually liked holding hands with at handshake events, a fan she'd have been genuinely happy to see at their concerts, whose name she'd have remembered and whom she'd have given extra merch as a personal gift.

It also helps that he's not an unwashed, greasy slob.

Or maybe I'm just overthinking and reading way too much in a manga about 30 year old girl failures with big tits.

Souko was so pretty this chapter, oh my god.

Thank you for the translation (remember: if you're a woman, you can get away with being a little cringe as long as you're moderately pretty. Which the four of them are without a doubt).

She remembers how earnest he was from the group. These are my notes on Ayumi:

xxx, Ayumi (F)
o) Long blond hair, piercings
o) Age: ~31
o) Was idol in First Lovers
o) CEO/President AV filmmaker "Premium Picture"
o) Has full-back snake-dragon tattoo
o) Remembers Yusei from when he would visit Sumire backstage
o) Started blushing when talking to Yusei
o) She thinks Yusei looks like her ex
o) At least strongly ATTRACTED to Yusei

honestly they could've gone with something more casual but still with similar theme, like how kpop girlband goes nowadays because it would fit more with the era (and their age)
