wonder if she'll make physical contact with our detective friend here next chapter or if he'll escape the prying eyes of her power for a lil bit longer...

thanks for the chapter!

Gonna add this, actually: The mention of Spica having OCD makes me curious at seeing if they'll show how she is when she lacks her control and can't keep up her poker face. She's so far only really expressed her politeness, confusion, and sometimes annoyance. Though maybe she's also just so out there she doesn't really freak out that much either.

dead mom alert!!!! theory time!

so the uncle was transferred in around when the teacher died. Was it because
1. he was involved with the Gemini coverup and got sent away to stop being an embarrassment
2. he was planning to do this for a while to get an opportunity to research her sister’s death

and with regards to tsumugi
1. is it time to team up with murder boy to hunt down the mom’s killer
2. tsumugi said that she wasn’t a good girl. THE MOM WAS A SERIAL KILLER AND TSUMUGI OFF’D HER

with regards to tahakaru, his obsession with murderers could be because
1. it's his coping mechanism to try to understand what took away his mother
2. it's his coping mechanism to try to understand his mother

personally I'm leaning towards uncle being guilty of a coverup, and only investigating this case to get back at what got him into trouble and as an achievement to help him worm his way back to central, the dead sister seems like the type of misdirection the author likes to use.

either way, poor tahakaru tho. no way he's getting out of this without a few good traumas

For the most part she's been thorough with her targets, but she should have quit after she wrapped that case. She got a little too comfortable.
She doesn't care if she gets caught in the first place and told Hatori as much in chapter 2. She'll straight up tell you that she's a murderer if you ask her. Mukai nearly got her to spill the beans but she dropped it before Spica could reply. Hell, this plotline only exists because Spica told someone that she's a murderer, so clearly she doesn't care too much.

This cop guy is pretty safe from her, she'd never hurt an innocent I'm pretty sure. Let's see how she gets out of this one without killing him, though.
Spica was fine being reported tho? By the senior detective. So she'll probably won't mind him snooping or figuring out. Her going to jail won't do much since she isnt really a human i guess?

thats a translator note, not something author mentioned
I think she may be on the autism spectrum but I'm not sure if OCD is the actual manifestation of it. Frustration at things being "out of place" can be true without actual obsessive compulsions, and her tendency to be a cold observer to other people's lives and feelings feels like high functioning autism more generally.

That would be a Spica worthy twist

Actual detective vs Highschool girl who just cheats her way to answers using her power, I think the winner is obvious
The thing everything is so circumstantial against her too,but again she just said she's a killer and Japan prosecutors are incompetent and defense attorney even more so

What a hilariously stupid coincidence
Why have the detective argue himself out of the case just for gods hand to place that sad fucker on the street to give him a neutron brain blast? Thats so silly
He could have just kept digging and naturally discovered more, if this cafe scene didnt happen nothing would change
