It is sad this ended, but I am happy with the ending we received. Grandma and big sis helping her reach him before it was too late, and the heartfelt reunion of mama rabbit and old friends. Author, if you by chance read this, thank you for a great story. It was heartwarming and engaging. I hope another publisher will pick this up. Best of luck in your next series.

It may have not been a masterpiece in the short time you had, but it was certainly much better than the vast majority of what is churned out these days.

On a side note, thanks for the chance to read this wonderful manga, its a bit of a shame that it got axed but I did enjoy every chapter. I'm most definitely a fan of the art style used for this manga

It was as good of an ending as it could have been when axed this quick. Shame, one more volume would have pushed it to one of this year's top tiers. It's still great, but it's great in spite of being axed. I really liked it, I just wished it had the time it needed to develop.

As far as axed endings go, this wasn't so bad. It maybe helped that we knew early on that it wasn't likely gonna go for very long, but I was able to enjoy this last chapter still.

Did I want more? Of course, but that's not what happened. So instead, I'll be thankful for the 17 beautiful chapters we got, the amazing mangaka that brought this to us, and the wonderful scanlators who did their best against the odds.

Back in Chapter 7, he made 2 comments pleading people to buy or the manga risk getting axed. The original ones have been removed but you can still find a quote of it here

nosebleed did reach out to Satoshi-sensei via Twitter and he confirmed these comments were indeed made by him. That was the sole reason we started encouraging people to buy the JP vol starting from C8.

Man goddamit just when I found manga that had these old school charms it gets axed. Its not the first time but still equally disappointing.

I've come to really hate the modern anime/manga industry and honestly the game industry as well everything is just trying to catter to everyone with no thought on how to make an actual good work/game this overemphasize on profit has stripped everything of its charm its sad to see

Trust me, I was preparing to write a full essay on how flawed this chapter was, but in the end I figured "what else could you do when you're told you got cancelled 3 chapters in?" The writing isn't the best, but that's to be expected when you script and draw your own stuff, something has to give (Unlike stories with a writer and an artist doing their separate jobs). This manga was just the victim of the mainstream industry nowadays, which is sad but it is what it is.

Yeah it's about the best they can do, and I can relate as a fellow manga artist.
Though being self-published carries its own problems...
