I think it's safe to say that Spica doesn't decide to go somewhere unless she's pretty sure there's a killer there, so the question is: who is she hunting?

Here's my theory: What do a travel influencer, an investor, a writer, and a mountaineer have in common inside a rundown shack in the woods owned by a foreigner who is economically suffering?

Travel influencer: Scout
Investor: currency movement
Writer: planner
Mountaineer: muscle

I think this cabin is a Lupin III style hideout for a group of thieves. The muscle messed up and killed someone and got caught, now they all have some elaborate plan to ice him.

Not sure about that manager guy, but he's clearly in on it in some way. I know my theory sounds outlandish, but if I was an international thief with a crew we would all need cover-up jobs to explain or movements.

I know we haven't seen spica's parents but i wouldn't have even been allowed to go to a friends house let alone this kinda getaway place during summer (even if it's tech 'work' but yeah i would be concerned even if it was a 'known' company versus some internship/some kinda school collaboration)

I guess teens have a lot of free time, she even had a part time job too tho i wonder how many teachers would've warned against meeting random strangers even if JP is fairly 'safe' (despite the high amount of serial killers spica's able to track down)

Hm, dunno if the lodge owner is supposed to be some 'artsy' creative type or the JP equivalent to a hippie ,but interesting clothing choice

Always with the influencers...I guess a 'travel' one would make decent money if they're popular enough for their fans to fund their trips or sponsors (tho it's prolly easier to 'travel' in jp compared to other places)
