Everyone should take a moment to relax and observe how this unfolds before rushing to conclusions. Remember, this is merely an adaptation of the Light Novel/Web Novel, and true 1-to-1 adaptations are quite rare. The publisher may have a completely different perspective compared to us as readers, and it’s possible that sales aren’t performing well either. Ultimately, we just don’t know.

At the end of the day, it's your decision whether to keep reading it or move on to another manga. Honestly, I can't stand seeing posts about dropping a series without any context or explanation. A lot of us tend to forget that manga is a medium designed to give people an experience and encourage those who are interested to read the original work, much like anime.

It isn’t even betrayal. It’s just plain common sense hyce at the beginning of the story literally nearly killed and was being dead weight to the team. FmC saw that it was safer for him to not be in danger thus she kicked him out to keep him safe.

I really think you guys should work on your reading comprehension

I’m not saying she’s right for not apologizing she should at least give a full apology to hyce
No, he wasn't. The others in the team had motives to sabotage him from the get go. Both the Priestess and the Knight Dude literally ensured Hyce would get no training, constantly burdened him with various minor tasks and set out to sabotage him every step along the way. Both of them want Sasha and saw Hyce as the main issue with getting her.

So this doesn't happen in WN? If it doesn't, I hope the author gonna fix the personality of Sasha. I really don't like her recruiting the MC again after she almost killed him and kicked him out of the group; she's not even apologizing first...
It does, but slower. Here he sacrifices himself for her, so she can awaken her super special power and win all on her own to get all the glory in just 10 chapters. In the WN it took 100 to get to that point. Author is just glazing Sasha even harder than he did in the WN.

Why? Why should people not voice their displeasure when what happens is absolutely nonsensical and stupid and only serves to glaze a character that was hated in the WN already even harder?

You can say what you want, but there’s a reason they went down that path, likely influenced by publishers or other outside factors.

I feel like you might not have fully understood my post. There could be a reason for this chaos—maybe the threat of cancellation or something else. We may never know, but we should wait and see how it unfolds. If it remains bad, then criticize it. For now, I’ll hold off on forming an opinion until I see where it leads.

In my opinion, it’s a refreshing twist from the usual LN/WN, totally unique, like a train that decided tracks are optional. I’m genuinely curious to see where this wild ride ends up!

I only come here for the comments. For me this has always been cringe, nothing has changed and the trajectory has been true. I guess Its faster than what some people expected but you have to convert web chapters into month chapters and I wouldn't want to put up with him being a dickhead for a more than a year. But I'm also not the demographic so fuck me.

And you can come up with whatever excuse you want. The WN had the massive issue that the author was glazing Sasha, hard. To the point that nothing was ever really her fault. She got credit for everything. No matter what Hyce did or whom he befriended, it ended up benefitting Sasha and even the two clowns who sabotaged and set up Hyce and wanted to bang Sasha were kept around i.e 2/4 of the original members of Sacred.

Everyone hated it, even the Japanese audiences absolutely loathed it and made that very clear. Something they hardly ever do. The author doubled down and just did it even harder than before. How exactly will doing it 10x as fast and even harder exactly fix that sentiment?

And nothing about this is a "refreshing twist", it's stale as hell. It's the usual "MC forgives and gets along with folks again".

And why do you say that?

I understand that a lot of people here are disappointed about this, and that’s fine—you’re entitled to your opinions. But one thing I’ve learned in this long journey (almost half a century) is that I want to see the full picture before casting my judgment on a title. Besides, I’ve seen series that strayed from the beaten path and ended up being better than the source material, and others that didn’t...

At the end of the day, I want to see how the author cooks with this before I step out of the kitchen.

Seems pretty evident that the series is probably getting axed. They accelerated the MC and Sasha reconciling at mach speed

I get what your trying to get at but…

From Hyce’s perspective she just kicked him out of the party without even talking to him beforehand.

And then sent him to die in an s-tier dungeon location. Then doesn’t apologise for 2 years and doesn’t ever empathise with how traumatic it was for him. Completely saying she is in the right for everything.

Thats not even including the abuse she gave him in the webnovel while he was in the party.

So, now he forgives her? The main point of the start of the manga was for him to keep hating her. This is some BS. I'll still keep reading, though.

Well ngl I'm sort of thankful this got introduced way earlier then it was supposed too :aquadrink:

MC sort of forgave her later on in the LN and apparently from my understanding of spoilers is that she STILL doesn't understand why everything happened

So we basically got that horrible moment early meaning we don't have to be AS invested as the LN and feel the betrayal of time spent on a shit story (ch 1 was great)

You'd think after that shitshow moment in the LN that the author would do the manga different but instead they just showed it earlier or something, Author is 100% a simp of her and its wild

Also I really hate how everyone defends her reasoning for being shit is because apparently the girl has autism(according to the defenders) as if thats a great excuse for being oblivious :shamihuh:
