This was a nice one. No forced romance ending, loving mom, MC with a good head on her shoulders and funny moments (lol, that stat reader is straight out of DBZ)

This one is quite unique (I guess it has to be since this is already vol. 14). While it was a nice read, the ending left many threads hanging. This reminded me a bit of the manga of a poor girl who was accosted as being the villainess in elite high school in current day Japan. She befriended a pair of boy and girl twin from super rich family who helped her navigate school life. Too bad no scanaltion group continue this one.

Funny enough, this reminds me of "Beware the Villainess" where when said "titulary Villainess" encountered each of the "Fishes/Love Interests" she listed not only WHAT made the reader/viewer swoon over them and the trope they represent.....but how they would be PERCEIVED IRL! For example the PRINCE, her fiancee gets his BAD TRAITS with his CONSTANT cheating on his fiancee pushed to the side because the Fiancee AKA the Villainess is meant to be a Hate Sink. But realistically he is a RED FLAG because of the cheating and of course his BAD BEHAVIOR in upsetting his fiancée into finding him with the girl, then using her to get rid of the girls he was flirting with. Allowing himself to come off "sympathetic for having such a controlling bitchy fiancee" and "Not an asshole who loves playing with girls, then setting them up to be attacked by his fiancee KNOWINGLY!" Then you have her BROTHER, who is the LONER Stoic guy who protects the Heroine from afar......IRL he's a creepy stalker as just cause the girl MIGHT think it FEELS romantic to have a HIDDEN GUARDIAN ready to jump out and save you! Thinking on it, you don't know "how long and how much they've seen/heard" and no one LIKES a stalker in real life other then those "messed up in the head"

Then you have the other two, the brutish idiot that when you think on it, is an IDIOT that only has HIS LOOKS going for him. No CIVILIZED GIRL is really going to LIKE a Barbarian REALISTICALLY! And the final guy was a FUCKING OBSESSIVE YANDERE! Honestly Men AND Women seem to LOVE these characters....but IRL "hell fucking no" because they also fit into what the Villainess brother was! Plus some Yandere stories DO play them straight! These are the types ASSURED to be a Future Domestic Abuser to you because "They love you so much, they HATE they have no control" and so don't fear "hurting you one way or another to ASSURE you won't RUN AWAY" (self fulfilling prophecy and hypocrite since they like to think "they'd never hurt you")

I do like how this ended. The Heroine GOT the Prince, issue is she now has to deal with a partner that will NEVER stop thinking she's untrustworthy (DESPITE BEING THE ONE WHO CHOSE HER! Yeah, he is RIGHT in a way that she likely "said only what he wants to hear" ironically in these gams, the META "IS" to say and do what THEY LIKE/WANT to get AFFECTION POINTS with them. It's rare to find some that subvert this) and in essence make himself MORE MISERABLE because of his "Victim complex" (it's why he CONFRONTED FMC, he assumed since he "designated her a villainess" that there was "NO WAY" she wouldn't take advantage of a humiliating moment on his end to get back at him for dumping her. Because he has to be the VICTIM 100% and she has to be the BAD GUY otherwise he has no one to blame or accuse of being out to get him!

Sadly I get how FMC feels as my younger brother acts JUST LIKE THIS to a FUCKING T! (he's five years younger then me, and I'm 38 as of this comment to give you an idea of his age and yes like FMC I DO find it pathetic, he's been doing this since he was fucking 10!) Seeing EVERYONE as the enemy. He got fired from a job, "Somehow the Boss was out to get him and he SPINS a story of being taken advantage of and abused" to try and get sympathy, funny as when this started when I was 25, I fell for it as he never lied before.....then our mother who was his ORIGINAL TARGET of his bullshit revealed to me what REALLY happened and now well he keeps doing it still.....and that's NOT when he's accusing US (Ma, Me or the younger siblings, I'm first born, he's second) of "being out to get him" especially in the face of advising him AWAY from a bad idea that someone who DIDN'T EVEN HIDE they hate him and wish him ruin! We HAVE to be the enemy.....till we aren't then we "have to feel sorry for him!" The problem is he doesn't know when to "get the hint" (as in we told him straight up EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR TWO FUCKING DECADES NOW) no one likes that shit, no one BELIEVES HIM anyway. Just stop it. Sadly he's mimicing our uncle (Ma's younger brother) who he's a MINI ME to, but the reason Uncle is MANAGABLE is none of us like to spend time around him, and his wife and her kids (step-cousins and my bio cousin) are sadly the ones to have this bad behavior directed at (Not even my Cousin anymore, she fucking moved out LOL! Cousin is same age as the IDIOT Brother I'm mentioning) and the one he USE to plague, My grandmother (his and Ma's mother) passed away a decade ago. He even DARED to wonder WHY no one wants him around and why he's getting WORSE when my mother said it to him, he was one of MANY factors leading to grandma's miserable finally 10 years before she passes and now she's gone, he has no one to turn to and PLAGUE since he SOURED his relationships with my OTHER uncles and Aunts. Hell just recently with the death of my Aunt, his and Ma's ELDEST sister, he STILL acted this way and soured his FINAL relationship with my Idiot brother! The only one LEFT who tolerated him (they were FEEDING each other's Victim Complexes essentially) FMC in this story is LUCKY to have been DONE with the Prince as he would only make things HARDER for her then she already has it (and yeah her outburst at him at the end was the SAME I myself had to my brother! The fool refuses to GET IT and STILL brings his problems to me like SOMEHOW I give a fuck despite HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO SAY THE SAME SHIT! I tend to avoid him, sucks that we share the SAME House, but once he leaves, I don't want to talk to him EVER again!)

In a way he (my brother) and the Prince of this story are like the Father of the FMC of "Watashi ga Shinde Manzoku desu ka?/Now That I'm Dead, Are You Satisfied?" who despite being this MILITARY MAN and War Hero, is revealed to have a VICTIM Complex and FISHES for "Sympathy" (whatever it's his second wife spending his money like a Spendthrift, or taking advantage of his daughter's "bad reputation" to try and ACT like she was "fooling him all this time") the man is pathetic and it's shown he does it MORE because he's like "an animal that gets rewarded for doing a trick!" They'll keep DOING IT despite debasing themselves because it gets them "more treats!

This one kind of felt like chaos for the sake of chaos. Nothing really happened. One shoe fell, and the other was lifted and given nowhere to go. Not the best in the anthology, to be sure. Hopefully not the best in this volume. (FYI, there will be a volume 15 released on the 31st of October — they're really milking it, even after mostly wringing it dry.)
