Was Bai Yan the friend who led Luxi on in her past? Yeah that plot thread kinda petered out, as for stuff feeling like not so much going on, I guess its bcus most of the development happened in s1, whereas here even the mom drama resolved quickly. As a fluffy SoL enjoyer, I very much enjoyed s2 thanks to this, but drama lovers' perspective may differ.
