Everyone deserves rest, and God knows you have earned it. I wish you Godspeed in your future endeavors, and thanks for all the hard work over the past 6 years.

Well, good riddance to your TS, PR, and QC. If you can't even use a dictionary to learn how to line-break words with doubled consonants like Clobbering or resurrected in … how many years? … then burn-out can't have been that much to blame. That's an issue of attitude.

As a reader, I always feel bad about people turning fan scanlation into a business. Many reasons for that, but there is one constant thing.

A lot of people that do this work have a lot of personal issues, and while many may want to try to work through it by doing this work, at times I'd certainly advise people to take care of themselves instead of stressing over this hobby. Take care of you and yours, we'll be fine bitching about stupid things.

Thank you for all the years of content. You've brought joy to many others.

I was excited to see someone pick this up after so long. Then I saw the credits.

That said, I so appreciate these chapters and I understand the burnout. I hope someone else picks it up.

It's unfortunately a natural thing that happens when you're determined to pay your staff for their time, and you get more and more staff, expectant readers, and thus, more series.
It can easily spiral into an out of control machine that you just need to do your best to keep up with.

I started proofreading manga because I was in a really dark place emotionally, and just needed something to do to keep my mind off the dark thoughts, so it became something I latched onto because I felt I needed it to keep myself in that better mental state, but I realized on the downhill that I was in a better state, and it was dragging me down into a worse one because of how strongly I latched onto it.

Having people rely on you can be an intoxicating feeling when kept in moderation, but no matter how well you think you're walking that line, it just takes a small knock to your mental or emotional state to leave you drowning.
I'm far from the first scanlator to fall into that trap, and I can guarantee I'm not the last.
