No hard feelings. It's just poor Gomi being in naive dream where he can make her him or he can fix her.

Ugly guy has the ulterior motive of wanting to get Gomi to back off so that he can blackmail Yumezora and give her a dicking. He wouldn't bother stalking her to a love hotel just because he felt angry at her on his "friend's" behalf.
The only question is whether it's true that this former extramarital romantic partner of Yumezora exists at all.
I'd assume he does exist since the ugly guy should expect that Gomi wouldn't believe him without some proof, like a photo of Yumezora and another guy from before walking out of a hotel.

The fact Gomi was willing to take advantage of situation to make Kuroko HIS when she is being domestically abused by her husband instead of trying to support her shows that Gomi is pretty bad himself.
