Personally, I just find that character type obnoxious. They seem to misunderstand everything and anything for the sake of misunderstanding it, as shown and even explicitly stated in this chapter they're just blocking progress more than they're helping it, all that coupled with the fact that any "drama" created from it feels so forced.

Also, Komukai's illustrations really makes you re-think that the author is indeed a H-doujin artist. Cause those expressions are exclusive for those things🤭
