i think it's the body on it's head controling it, but too much lonelyness screwed it's mind, it became unreasonableSo is the snake just a dumbass? The fairy said it existed on the island before it fell and illusion scenes implicated the dragonkin as being the reason it did fall so the snake should know it can't do shit to even a single dragonkin. Given it's role as a protector it had to have been dumpstered by the dragonkin once already. Sure it's artificial but it clearly has it's own will so on what basis does it think it can actually accomplish this goal? Gonna drop the island on the dragonkin homeland?
The ancients felt fear of the snake and shut it down, locked up under their island (they mentioned this a couple chapters back), and then the Dragons attacked. The Snake got free after all the island Elves had died, which means the Master isn't an ancient elf, she's an ancient Dragonkin. So is the snake just a dumbass? In chapter 53 on page 10, the fairy says "Three thousand years ago... Bersalis fell to the earth. And fearing the Snake's rampage, the people sealed it in the islands deepest depths." In this chapter the party reasons the dragonkin were the cause of Bersalis falling. So the Snake shouldn't have been sealed away yet at the time the dragonkin attacked at least with the credible information we have been given. Unless the Snake was sealed before the fall, got out during the fall, then had to be resealed it wouldn't make sense for them to say it was sealed after the fall unless it was free before then. The ancients felt fear of the snake and shut it down, locked up under their island (they mentioned this a couple chapters back), and then the Dragons attacked. Wasn't the fairy, someone else said that they used the Snake for everything, and were afraid it might one day get lose. I'm just guessing, about the Master being a Dragonkin. Though if I had to guess further, with the info we've gotten, the Dragonkin were probably Elves tapping into the Snake's power directly, maybe even like a Snake cult trying to break the Snake free.In chapter 53 on page 10, the fairy says "Three thousand years ago... It was the fairy. The fairy is also the one that told them that the Snake let them live in prosperity. No one else knows about the Snake and it's connection to the Ancients other than the fairy. They didn't even know the place they were in used to be a floating isle before they summoned the fairy.Wasn't the fairy, someone else said that they used the Snake for everything, and were afraid it might one day get lose.
