Just saying it, not really. If he got annoyed enough by her to report it then that probably could be enough. That said, even if she's a fool for trying she doesn't actually seem to be being an idiot about it. She tried to be immediately and notably helpful, but when he denied the assist she also immediately backed off and gave him his space rather than persist like a lot of money grubber characters would.

It depends. If this is at will employment, which is what most states have, then yes this would be grounds for termination if the employer so chose to. AT will you can be fired for a lot of stuff and they can get away with it, and even IF you think you have a good case at the labor court, if the judge thinks you were unprofessional then you are screwed. Now is she part of a union, and in good standing? She could still get into trouble then. Also what does the employee handbook say? Since this is an isakai there is probably NO American style HR but if there was the MC would have been punished for being a man if this was a corporate environment, but is the adventurers guild a private entity? is it a non-profit? or is it a government organization? Also what are the rules for dealing with aristocrats?

Now that could be some good worldbuilding and this is a series that can do that since it's a slice of life style.

Zilc is already giving them favors but in return he needs to give more? Im trying to humor the idea that the family is doing much more for him but i just cant make myself to buy it.
