thankyou for all the support@MadWeeb Congrats on translating a new manga that also makes it to the front page of Mangadex's Popular New Titles (at the time of me typing this it is currently at #10). Hope this tells you that people love this cultured piece of work & would love to see more of it. Appreciate the translations like always.
With out them it draws attention to the weird proportions she has in some scenes afterwards, but also they add character.am i the only one who thinks the female warrior looked better with scars than when they healed? it sounds morally wrong to say, but idk how else to explain it...
that's one of the reasons. the other is the fact those scars all over her body shows what she went through and a reminder not to repeat mistakes or something like that. also the mc literally says they are "a sign of honor"... and above all else i thought it was going to be a "i don't mind how you look like because you're beautiful on the inside" type of deal, but nope... leave it to mangas to never try to be a little bit modern with their mc's moralsWith out them it draws attention to the weird proportions she has in some scenes afterwards, but also they add character.
I agree. The pacing is absolutely wack, the progress is way too fast with no breathing room in between, especially with not a lot of panels to flesh their interactions. It feels like I'm skipping half the time. This is fun... but what we have right now (3 chapters as of writing) is NOT 8.4/10 good. I'm not comfortable giving this a rating yet, but this is definitely not above 7.5/10.
The idea of "healing springs" goes back into prehistory and across a lot of cultures. People would travel hundreds of miles to visit them. I suspect it's because soaking in water does have an effect on skin conditions like psoriasis. They used to be popular in the west, but modern medicine replaced them. Japan has a tradition of people visiting hot springs and there's still a lot of folk belief in the healing power of springs.also never really gave a thought to how a warrior should heal properly from grave wounds
this makes a lot of sense actually
a kind of hydrotherapy so to speak
