MOTHER FUCKER! Teru is the only reason why you guys can even talk! Teru was the guy busting his ass so that Tsu had somewhere to stay/could try to be normal after the government screwed Tsu over! Teru was the guy who gave Tsu a structure where he could at least function after the government's actions caused all his relationships (even ones after the tournament) to go to shit! Teru was the guy who help Tsu overcome his suicidal thoughts!!!

Now I see why all the characters fucking hated Aino in the beginning. He's a good-hearted naive guy who doesn't think nor act until it's convienent for him. (I fucking love this arc).

First of all if anyone from Kawabata Group is to be blamed for the kidnapping it should be Tobio. Second of all, it's the mafia's fault that they decided to escalate a minor dispute like that.
Third of all, Ainosuke is no better than Teru. Teru wants to destroy the country and have Kawabata rule it like a tyrant, Ainosuke (even if he doesn't realize it himself) wants to have Kawabata acting as goverment's lap dog. Both will get Kawabata away from the "normal life" that he wants so much, but if I were him and had to choose I'd still choose Teru. That stupid governemnt has to go lest they try some shit yet again.

First of all if anyone from Kawabata Group is to be blamed for the kidnapping it should be Tobio. Second of all, it's the mafia's fault that they decided to escalate a minor dispute like that.

Alright joking aside, Tsuyoshi wouldn't be a Yakuza boss if it wasn't for Teru. So far Tuyoshi's only options are, be a Yakuza boss or work for the government. Ultimately you're flipping the same coin of morality to be honest. But at least with the government, you can get them to re-instate your citizenship.

The only reason I give Ainosuke any credit is because he's the only person that hasn't used Tsuyoshi in this story. He's the only one who has ever listened to him and worked with him so Tsuyoshi and do what they want. It hasn't worked out, its not Ainosuke's fault that it hasn't worked out, and he still wants to try and find a way to fix things. But everyone is currently in a bad position of being used by someone and that's not Ainosuke's fault.

Teru and Ainosuke and their approach to Tsuyoshi completely mirror each other, in that Aino's view is pretty idealized "he's a kind guy who'd never hurt anyone!" and Teru's is "he's a murderous crashout king who likes to kill people and revive them to do it again." Aino can be truly frustrating with his lack of room-reading and unawareness ("hey man it's been a while wanna join the government?" was... the decision of all time on his part) but if he could have his way he would be letting Tsuyoshi live the peaceful life he wants to without a moment's hesitation.

This yakuza stuff? It is exactly the type of lifestyle Teru believes Tsuyoshi deserves and thrives in. It IS a legitimate lifeline for him after all the stuff he's been through, that can't be denied, but it ultimately is just Teru fueling the vision he's built up in his mind. Teru's willing to go above and beyond (beyond the law, even, which is another difference between the two) but he fundamentally is pushing for a lifestyle that aligns with the type of existence Tsuyoshi never really wanted to live, only the version in Teru's head would.
To put it simply Aino has the best intentions but is constrained by having the least results, while Teru has the worst (in the sense of being furthest from what Tsuyoshi wants from life) intentions but is overwhelmingly making things happen.

(Which is understandable, wouldn't be much of a story if it went "and then BEST HEROINE* Ainosuke comes in and solves all of Tsuyoshi's problems and he can paint now the end )

dude Tsuyoshi got super screwed up by the govt twice, the 2nd being his father the one that allowed that to happen and Aino ignored for months what could had happened to him.

yeah, Teru was right about Aino, and he even started to stalk his organization but didn't know about Saki, also wasn't even happy that the guy getting a gf (saying he really has changed in a bad light... like wtf??!)

only problem is that Teru let Tobio do whatever he wanted and that's how this happened, maybe he had too much faith on Ryu that could manage him.
