The only way this could work is if he doesn't raise her himself. They separate for say...10 years. She grows up but never lets go of her admiration for him, and once they meet again, as two fully grown adults, we can have her admiration turn into love. Then people will only complain about the 10 year age gap between them without the creepy ped/grooming aspect of it.

If those scars can be removed that seamlessly it’s understandable why all those people wanted to boost the saints power even if it was like torture (or did they want to abuse her and say it was training?) because the body’s natural healing cannot remove scars so that means that the “healing power” is likely not boosting the body’s natural healing by insane amounts but rather is instead a power to “restore the body” or “reverse the affected areas(on people) time to a healthier state”.
