I thought it was gonna be something generic until I saw page 18, where I thought she killed those people. And then it indeed turned out to be something generic.
I'm tired of this "to most people I seem really perfect but I'm actually lonely and flawed on the inside" trope.
I'm also tired of the "I'm a loser but a girl loves me regardless" trope.
I understand why both of these tropes exist and why they're so pervasive, but still.

I mean Grand Blue shows underaged drinking in the manga. The anime couldn't though cause of rules or timeslot, I think?

I think it's good, but man do I dislike the whole "the school idol princess who's flawless etc etc how dare you breathe the same air as her or in around 150m radius near her" especially when it's treated super seriously (instead of joke-y, though I dislike that too not as much) like those 2 creepy girls.
The fact that she dropped her princess persona at the end is good. I wish we could see those annoying girls' reaction.

Same, I opened it up and saw lots of comments thinking, "wow, seems like a good oneshot" but man... its just another generic story that could've been done (and has been done) in less than half the pages.

Props to the translator though for doing 88 pages in a single night.
