Was this series really targeted at a male audience? It had a male lead but I felt like the author was trying to cater to both. Especially with the manager's last-second romance. I guess I don't read a lot of this genre though, so I'm not the best judge.Good story but kind of an anticlimactic ending. This is why I kind of hate male-target romance stories, they almost always end when they get together (if they even get together at all).

I mean, I think it's a pretty common trope in shoujo/josei ("common" girl with an actor/singer/CEO/popular writer etc.), so if you browse those you'll find some. But I wouldn't expect most of them to be as chill as this oneIt's a nice story.
Though, is there a role reverse of this type of manga, like intstead of a women, but a famous male actor?
