next chapter finale?
In Spain we have a saying: "Whatever is good but brief, is twice as good"Feels natural enough.
I appreciate manga that actually have the guts to end. Also allows me to buy said manga.
Hope their next title is just as good.
They explained last chapter that she needed to go back to the divine realm where her mom is to recharge on spirit juice so she doesn't go crazy and vore people. Though we've never seen anyone just up and disapparate like that, it sure made for a touching scene, huh?Wait what's the low lore reason why she vanished?
Feel like the author got bored with the concept tbhAxe-kun or natural ending??![]()
We find out in the timeskip that theyre the old man and Foxwife in Kitsune Spirit but dont remember each other due to kitsune shenanigans. So what's it gonna be? Comedy time skip of only a couple days passing? Fan service time skip of a couple of years and him now being old enough to marry and have kids with her? Sad time skip of a couple of decades and he's so old she has to take care of him? Or tragic time skip and he's been long dead and she meets some grandchild that looks just like him?
It's published in comic cune. It was pretty popular on comic Walker and Nico Nico seiga. Sales were good but not great, iirc around 1250 physical sales, and a monthly series usually needs about 2000 physical sales/5000 total sales to go on. Though I think the decision to end it came late, the first volume was 140 pages and the second volume is going to be well over 200 pages.Unexpected end out of nowhere.
I don't think it got axed. Do correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this was a purely digital series. So it wasn't really competing for magazine space. And I refuse to believe that it didn't have enough readers to even cover its basic cost.
But I can believe that it might have failed to find enough readers to justify a printed release.
That makes me sad because I genuinely liked this series.
Ultimately it was probably the author's decision. I wish him the best and I hope his next series will be a success.

The artist also got his twitter suspended that might've played a role, online presence is really important for success and losing like 70k followers like that is a bummer. Otherwise he's been sick a lot with many breaks which might have also played a role I guess. In the end it's all speculation and we don't know I guess. But like always, if you like your favorite mangos and want them to continue, you should consider buying them. You can as easily buy them on kobo or bookwalker as the Japanese, and a digital volume is only five bucks.
Wait, for what??Twitter suspended
