She underestimated the people within the Japanese government that they could make countermeasures for exorcists if they ever go rouge not to mention she didn’t count on human greed so I think Ouhi is somewhat naivecan't believe she got fucking jobbed this bad... it's over...
Will see if Ouhi stays dead or gets resurrected but remember she’s half human half Tsugumomo and her half self Ouna is most likely still alive or unconscious(at least I think so)I ain't buying any deaths in a story where gods, spirits and reincarnation are confirmed to exist.
Regardless I can’t wait to see how shit goes down also they got outplayed so easily due to a traitor among their ranksI'm honestly getting a bit bored seeing the good guys being put on the back foot.
They're supposed to be powerful folks, but they repeatedly get caught unaware, loses because the enemy outplayed them (somehow) and then whoops, here's a new arc guys. Like yeah, i get there would be other powers at play, but there's just seem to be obstacle after obstacle (and again with a "good" character getting stolen/brainwashed/converted by the enemy).
The story just feels a little cyclic now.
There is a female exorcist(don’t remember her name but she was close to Ouhi) on her way to Ouhi’s location now so it’s likely her body will get collected and taken back to the templeHatsuki is hot. Have we seen her before?
F for Ouhi. I assumed her mail kimono was passively defending her, but if it's active then she really is deadzo. Either way, RIP Ouhi's arm. I wonder what'll happen to her body.
He’s crazy as he wants to play god and most likely make a Japan ruled by humans but I wonder why he wants to do this maybe something happened to him when he was a kid or something that led to this goalThis guy must be a frickin' DEI hire.

Making war on a concept would make more sense if he was a politician, but he's a bureaucrat, right? I think it has more to do with how aberrations are unable to be controlled. In chapter 162 he talks about how before Kanaka is defeated, the government will have to evacuate a city to prevent citizens from being caught up in a "calamity" as well as come up with an excuse for the evacuation. They know the barrier breaks in roughly three years, but only the crystal ball girl can predict the exact time when the barrier break occurs and her accuracy is based on how close in time it is to predicted event.I thought they wanted to control the spirit realm, not destroy it entirely... makes sense, sounds like a real government plan after all: Making war on a concept.
We've seen what she can do with her hair so you'd think even if she couldn't see or sense the spiritual energy of those guys she would have spread her hair spread out being used as "feelers". Especially since she talks about being cautious on the first page. So yeah, we knew it was coming, but to quote a certain creature of shadow and flame:guhhhhhhh we knew this was gonna happen and it was basically a one panel kill shot.
Regardless, thanks for the translation!
That was lame
Yup and up next is Kazuya and Kiriha’s return and they learn what has happenedWow, okay so the flash-forward from the start of this arc finally happened. I'm conflicted, she's either coming back or she's dead, dead and I'm really not sure which option is better story wise. Either way at least the story can move forward now, this arc has dragged.
It is dangerous, but I think Kazuya stands a better chance since he can also use spirit energy martial arts to defend himself. His training in Yomi makes him probably one of the few who could counter this tactic. That lame trap can be used against any exorcist so Kazuya needs to be careful
