Now I want to see Kazuya or Sunao fight this woman
I don't think it would be much of a fight.

Oriobana is a true master, and she is pushing Megabuchi with nothing but the bare minimum of spiritual reserves and technique... Kazuya is a prodigy with both reserves, physical capabilities, and a tactical and strategic mind, and he has been honing that in situations that even other masters would falter... he has even come some techniques that weren't widely known but serve as extreme differentials (even if he wasn't really the inventor of them).

Point is... Megabuchi isn't weak... she just isn't a true master, maybe it is something she lacks, or maybe her tsugumomo simply doesn't complement her well.

If she fought Kazuya, heck... if she fought a full-power Oriobana, she wouldn't last more than a few seconds.

Can strangle opponent in the blink of an eye, proceed to do that only on the body while knowing for sure if do that on neck she will instantly win...
Oriobana doesn't like killing.

Just look at her policies about who can take on execution missions... only the 8th sigils.

Tsuzura is a monster killing especialized institution, dealing with monsters can be taxing on the mind, but there is no moral compromise on that... they aren't human, there is no redemption or comprehension to be had, the most they have to be careful is to understand what is the desire that materializes them, but unless there is a clear danger to life, be the "conjurer" or people around... just "kill" the monster and be done with it.

She clearly wants to incapacitate Megabuchi, she would hurt her a lot, but nothing life-threatening or permanent, which... admittedly... is something that will turn against her.

But I respect Oriobana for that, it would be easy to devalue life in her line of work, even with "situational justification", but she has always tried to keep things under a defined limit.

Yes but their are Curse Allies who are human beings who honestly some deserve to die like Outan and Wagou and Sunao killed one of them and I hope Wagou is next on her kill count

So is Sunao she’s a prodigy too so I guess Megabuchi won’t last long against her either but she would be lucky if Kazuya didn’t fight her so I say about a few minutes with her fighting Sunao if Sunao doesn’t cut off an arm or kill her she will most likely spare her life she only would kill those who deserve killing now that she’s not afraid anymore to take a life of a human being

I don't really like though that she's seemingly going to lose in literally the exact same way she did in the masters tournament, basically 1:1

also some of the poses and fight choreography is pretty similar to when the MC fought the possessed water god in heaven, slightly unfortunate

still peak though

Yeah... that is my point, Curse Allies are an exception, but even then Oriobana only allows the highest rank to deal with them... and we saw how Sunao's performance at first.

Oriobana has nurtured a clear definition of morals in Tsuzura.

I know Ouhi did nurtured a clear definition of morals and eventually Sunao managed to kill Outan on her own during the attack thanks to all the lessons she learned so her training pays off in the end.

The next curse ally Sunao is probably gonna kill is Wagou once her tattoos are removed and she makes a full recovery the reason she lost is because of that reveal Wagou did about her brother and she let her emotions get to her and she used up all her spiritual power(she used alot of it for the Soul Shrine counter to kill Outan)

So I bet she will learn from that mistake as defeat is the greatest teacher and she eventually reaches her peak potential with help from Kazuya plus he can give her some of his spiritual power so she doesn’t run low like last time.

Plus Sunao is well deserving of a promotion to Eighth Sigil despite her circumstances but it showcases she is a survivor.
