What? The whole point of this ordeal was to completely remove the curse, not seal it for another 300 years. That's why Kururi had to do this, since he had the special vortex magic. This was the greatest proof that the ultimate magic had succeeded. There's no more worry for the next 300 years.
Proceeds to chat with his wife."If I lose focus for even an instant, I'll never stand again."
That's called support. Two are stronger than one."Strange. Strength is welling up inside me."
Right, i kinda remember moran said about him being the prophesied kid that would end this once for all few chapters ago. What? To be fair, Chris Helan (the founder) only temporarily sealed the curse instead of permanently removing it because he wasnt strong enough. While Kururi's hinted to be the prophesied Helan to end this, the author could always cop out by saying Kururi also isnt powerful enoughWhat? The author cold also cop out by saying that Kururi wasn't willing to die and drag Eliza to death alongside him, so he didn't take the process all the way through, which would have required his death. However, I don't really see why, if he's not dead, he couldn't go back to the site a few years later to finish the job. The curse might not even be worth mentioning when it's not active. Shouldn't it be a whole lot easier to remove once and for all then? It's not like the curse would cease to exist, only to appear 300 years later from nothing. It's there all the time, slowly gathering power for centuries until it turns active to ruin the land.To be fair, Chris Helan (the founder) only temporarily sealed the curse instead of permanently removing it because he wasnt strong enough. Good point, he can always return. It may even be a nice ending. Imagine an elderly Kururi and Eliza holding hands at the swanp reminiscing about the fulfilling life and bountiful children theyve had, before finishing the spell for good. Alternatively, the curse may be too weak to properly detect and manipulate when it's not peak times. The author cold also cop out by saying that Kururi wasn't willing to die and drag Eliza to death alongside him, so he didn't take the process all the way through, which would have required his death.
