Yeah, with how often that one coworker needs Murata to bail him out until late in the evening, I don't get why manager isn't just saying "Murata and I were stuck late fixing xyzzy" and it'd clear everything up...

It's not just that this fuckass messes up and brings in other people to un-fuck his stupidity, but they can't fire him because of labor laws. He has to astronomically ruin things or be convicted of a crime before they can fire him.

That being said, I had no clue about the jacket button thing (which for some reason they bring up far too often), and there's no way I would have noticed or cared about something so small. Yeah, honestly, in the real world, there are consequences to wearing clothes. It's a cool line in a vacuum(the "men wearing women clothes/vice-versa" line), but some people can't handle the scrutiny.

That's not to say you can't do what you want, because you absolutely can. And if its not hurting anyone else(in a direct sense at least), then go for it; just be prepared if/when people look at you strange for going outside cultural norms.
