Yeah, honestly, in the real world, there are consequences to wearing clothes. It's a cool line in a vacuum(the "men wearing women clothes/vice-versa" line), but some people can't handle the scrutiny.

That's not to say you can't do what you want, because you absolutely can. And if its not hurting anyone else(in a direct sense at least), then go for it; just be prepared if/when people look at you strange for going outside cultural norms.

Well not caring is different than actively participating, he can still not care without going full crossdresser. I can "not care" if men have long hair, but have a preference for short hair for myself personally.

It’s a double standard bc of the difference between men’s and women’s clothing. Men’s clothes are mostly made to be a 1 size fits all whereas a lot of women’s clothing are made to consider womanly features and shapes.
