Don't forget he wears his hair like that on purpose. It helped him deal with someone when he wore a prop that had that hair style, and his hair was already thinning, so he just went with it instead of trying to fight it.

I've cracked eggs on flat surfaces after culinary school, because eggs are actually a dry good in Europe...but there's poo on the outside of the shell. Cracking the egg on a flat surface prevents the outer shell from contaminating the egg.
