Not sure which is more accurate to the original, but putting aside that metric for quality, I'd say that your release is significantly more to my taste (Unless really bad such that it affects comprehension, I don't knock a release for typos, but figured I'd mention it; page 14, "Apparently (he) married another woman", "he" is missing). Its not even just that it’s one year… Elf time-perception is probably different due to how long they live. 1 year could probably be the equivalent of someone moving on anything from “within a week” down to “on the same afternoon” for us…
