I don't know how this series ends, but this could totally end up with two or three corses and it wouldn't feel out of place at all. It's pretty strange because on the surface this is pretty fluffy with the rather friendly, standard manga character designs and everything. No violence, no gruesome psychological stuff, no clearly insane characters. Yet more and more girls are falling for Masato, ever deeper and deeper, with no way out. How could they all possibly cope successfully with the ultimate resolution of not every one of them being able to end up with him? The longer they all postpone confessing to him, the worse it will get. Masato himself won't ever notice anything wrong, so he will keep treating them like princesses (in a figurative, positive sense), unlike any other guy they could possibly encounter in that world.

I have the feeling we're going to end up with a legal harem end, since in the first chapter there's apparently a really strong movement towards legalizing polygamy.

It's perfectly resonable to not understand an emotion you have never felt. All we can do is see the way other people act. If you have never felt moved in the same way is it not resonable to think that they may be faking or exaggerating what they are feeling?

If everybody admires the emperor's new clothes but he appears naked to you, what would you think?

An emotion can not be seen, only felt. There is no objective way to prove it exist. All we have is what everyone else says they feel.

Unlike an atom, which can be proven to exist.

Why would you believe an emotion exist if you have never felt it? Why wouldn't you think what is being described is hyperbole or poetic license?

Do yoU believe everything you are told without proof?

The only way to prove an emotion exist is to feel it yourself.

Not everyone feels emotions the same way, or even at all. There are people unable to feel anything and others that cry at everything.

The world people experience is entirely subjective, based on their perceptions, previous experiences, prejudices all filtered through a brain with a unique architecture and bio chemistry.
