See, this is fun. I'll look forward to more updates.

I also get his hesitation, considering how recent he was fucked over. Still, hopefully they won't draw out the romance part that much.

Also.. How old is that "childhood friend"? Is she the same age as him? How old is he, for that matter?
My guess it’s around a 3 to 4 your age gap at most six considering how she refers to him

And I don’t think it helps that this artist draws their characters really young looking

Because the twins look like they’re 12

How the hell did i not notice that Patrick's last name is Palatine while reading the WN...One letter difference from Palpatine, now his actions make even more sense
May I ask, where can you find the WN? Ive doing some searching and every link either routes to sale pages or scanlates of the manga

he should fuck all of them

people worrying age all the time on a story lmao
this isnt earth, and if its something like medieval its common to marry 13 or something lower, gotta get married to unite kingdoms after all
Bruh I'm so tired of retards getting mad at age and shit in manga in a FUCKING FANTASY SETTING like I would get (sorta) if they got mad at it in a MODERN setting like our world and shit but Medieval fantasy with their own rules and monsters and shit and where people are considered adults at like age 13-16 or so and a old man if your around 30 since you usually die earlier then that but yet Retards keep trying to input their WESTERN fucking IRL morals into fantasy land......

Man I'm so happy Japan is having more of a spine and are actually fighting back against Western crazy morals on their anime work, feelsgoodman :glee:

The premise was good...until I heard MC saying he wants to have a slow life.

He could burn it down the entire kingdom who betrayed him and left him without any fortune, but no. He easily accepts that, doesn't talk to any of his subordinates who could make a coup and punish the princess for breaking the contract.

One bad thing is that as usual the super strong MC get exiled for retarded reasons. No sane nation would squander such an important resource as a heroic, super strong commander.

Uhhhhhh I got bad news my dude. History is full of noble nonsense like this. Kings sending people to their deaths to maintain face... I mean its such a thing even the fucking BIBLE mentions such a situation. No, seriously check out Uriah the Hittite

If anything, historically accurate. People went into exile or killed over things we would consider petty or minor today.

Never forget the kinda shit HRH King Henry the VIII pulled. Six marriages and in the process of trying to annul one, kicked off the English Reformation.

A fiancee cheating on her betrothed is a basic level of NTR.
Entry Level NTR? :kek:
Its hard market out there. Gotta work on that NTREsume.

is the manga going to have the same plot as the web novel or will the manga make some changes like other manga's sometimes do?

How long do you expect it to be drawn out? If it's done too soon, then him being cheated on will risk losing the weight the narrative gave it (and the audience's satisfaction of him getting over it in turn), and if it is dragged out, it's gonna feel like a "for fuck's sake, finally, now can we move on" like Blake and Yang from RWBY.
Then again, it will only feel dragged out if the writing is weak and uninteresting. Which means this is all dependent on the writer(s).

Frankly, I've lost hope in compelling writing from contemporary authors because the standards for marketable literature have changed.

mc's right for being mad about being tossed to the side by the damn country he fought for cuz his fiance was a bitch but it doesn't seem like he really ever interacted with her so I really don't think he should be quite as bent out of shape bout being cucked atleast.

Uh, just found this one.... Nice art, kinda unoriginal premise. Now let's see the execution.

This doesn't seem to be an isekai, I wonder why it's marked as such. A lot of people think that fantasy = isekai. But that's just plain wrong..

I'm going to assume that somehow the kingdom that exiled him will burn but... I don't know if I want to see any revenge. To be honest, I don't recall the last manga that had a revenge that was both "proportionate" and "well done"
Revenge things usually either go off the super cringe, excessive and exxagerated revenge story (say, Redo healer) or end up being just unsatisfactory.

One bad thing is that as usual the super strong MC get exiled for retarded reasons. No sane nation would squander such an important resource as a heroic, super strong commander.

I just hope the MC will end up being happy, I don't care about retribution...

Rather than revenge, I just want shit to start declining for the kingdom. Maybe the knights find out and protest/quit en masse. Maybe the scandal is exposed anyway and they banished him for nothing.

Just something so they "lose".
