This motherfucker's going ghost. Imagination is one hell of a drug.

Thanks for the chapter.

This is no different than when Baki summoned his ghost training partner and the other fighters were able to see it. There's always been some battle shounen nonsense in this series. It just wasn't as pronounced in the beginning. My issue is when Yujiro got turned into some rapist monster. That seemed extremely out of character for him. Thanks for the chapter!!!

The ludicrous explanations from witnesses trying to pass for reality and the totally not fruitcake stuff? I have enough with those, this has been a comedy manga for me for a long while now.
Well it IS the purpose of this manga.
It has always been a Comedy.
At the beginning, the Serious part was the one exception, it wasn't meant to last.
Now, we can tell that Itagaki's a good mangaka for making this as it is, as laughable and purposefully unserious as it is intended

He was already an rapist in Part 1. And Yujiro is constantly out of character. The scene where he told Muhammad Ali that he thinks it’s terrible how black people are treated in the USA was so cringe and wrong, considering how Yujiro generally looks down on others and constantly kills them. He demands that Baki train without pause in his childhood but criticizes him for lacking table manners. I also remember Yujiro mentioning Indiana Jones at one point. For me, Yujiro is not someone who watches movies.

True, but it seemed like he was doing it for possible worthy children (or somewhat revenge concerning Jack's mother). Now he just sees everyone as a woman and will just do it on a whim. Really weird direction from the start of the series.

Okay guess what. He was not cringe and wrong, it was just Yujiro displaying his superiority over any character of the week: he can punch harder than Doppo Orochi, be faster than Baki, and he understands the plight of oppressed minorities better than Muhammad Ali

I'm worried they're just setting up Doppo v Jack but I would really like to see Doppo v Baki.

Yujiro was always a rapist but it sucks that Itagaki hasn't found any other use for him in the last few series aside from completing side quests by molesting US politicians. Also no other character has had any development aside from Baki becoming 10x stronger for no reason after "defeating" Yujiro
Anyway I think doppo and hanada should gank Baki and beat him up
