wasn't this originally after they met mr. t or whatever the fuck his name was though & they dealt with all that nonsense? i was shocked to see this chapter was about the mayoiga when i was expecting the amnesia/amusement park arc instead, but i realize i might be misremembering since these two's story isn't concluded until the girls return to the mansion & there's at least the summer camp trip in between there, right?

Nope, this is the right spot, actually. Volume 5 is Pontianak, Diagonal Mirror, Mayoiga, and Hasshaku-sama Revival. Templeborn is the entirety of Volume 6, so we're not quite there yet — gotta finish up Mayoiga and get someone out of the Otherside first! I'm so looking forward to that :3

thanks, idk exactly why i thought the t-san saga was between diagonal mirror and mayoiga, but i think that's just because vol 6 absolutely blindsided me with the vibe of its tone/contents relative to the volumes on either side of it, so i mentally pushed it as far forward as i could (because otherwise the series just gets better as it goes, lol). hell, the only reason i blindly accepted that it came after diagonal mirror (despite how good it is) but not this part is probably just because i'm so acutely aware of the nightmare boomerang being thrown here lmao
