I'll allow it. Learning proper manners is highly contextual and involves more practice than speaking. When a child is misbehaving the parent often doesn't explain things, but simply says 'don't do that' and punishes the kid until the lesson is learned.
Also, these things are considered common knowledge and rarely talked about. How often are you being reminded specifically not to enter a women's bathroom - every guy is supposed to know that, and people get weirded out if they ever have to explain basic things like that to a grown person.
