Welp, now we know the context of why Loki burned down a giant village in the past. There's quite the context behind many of Lokis actions, sucks his people didn't know or perhaps even bothered to know.

funny that Blackbeard scarring Shanks probably gave him the perfect excuse to claim he was tired of the surface world so that he could hang around celestials while pulling stuff like helping Fisher Tiger out, I wonder how exactly he got out of all of that tho because I assume they'd kill him if they did find out about him helping slaves escape and such

and Loki... his dad's on one end of the world working as a government dog and the only woman he'd call his mother is poisoned by his bio mom's side of the family, fucked scenario all around. Knowing he's the one who kills a (presumably) possessed Harald soon enough too is just too cruel, I hope he gets to go a lil wild when we get back to the present

bro imagine being saul and seeing the elbaf ruler wear the equivalent of a fucking sleeve eagle while you literally defected and resisted a group affiliated with said the group harald is in due to trying to stop genocide

Harald starting to remind me of Oden. both so earnest following the deal laid out for them (1000 years atonement and the dance of shame around Wano), they finally going to reach a breaking point and rebelling, leading to their death

You know this makes me think if Shanks becoming Yonkou is part of Imu/Gorosei order. We know Yonkou are used to deadlocked with each other so they were unable to expand or going for One Piece because they have territories to keep. I wonder if that was Shanks purpose to be Yonkou, to be keep Yonkou deadlocked with each other and maintain the world equillibrium as Imu/Gorosei desired (Marines - Shichibukai - Yonko).

Of course I think Shanks has his own agenda doing this separate from Imu/Gorosei's.

My theory is more like, they found him after he became more known thanks to being in the Pirate Kings crew. They took him with him and he used the chance to play along. At least thats how I see things until Oda tells me otherwise.
