I used the uneaten body for some experiment. By putting it in wooden skewer, I tried to dry it. I'm hoping to see if it will preserve the body

But no, they just fall apart after a day or two, the body fall of the head.

Failed miserably, smell really bad too. Probably because I can't keep it dry since it's rainy season that time. I haven't made anymore attempt since last year, this year pretty boring

yeah no, dry aging is done in a controlled environment. also just leaving a corpse on salt will only trap moisture in the salt, you'll have better luck drying it under the sun
