Yeah im out. I just can’t forgive man on woman violence unless it’s in an officially sanctioned and regulated event and both participants are in the same weight class.
Seem like you haven't read Ch.13 in R18 version didn't you because what she did to him definitely justify for him to hit her and that's still an understatement on that hit

I just love how we are told from chapter 1 that MC wants to get revenge on her and people somehow are still surprised when he gets his revenge 30 chapter later.
I don't like this strawman of the reactions-- granted, they're diverse, and frankly I think there's a lot of overreacting about the matter of the author producing the work, but I'm of the understanding that everyone's aware that this guy has been angling for revenge from the start.

Certainly as for me, it's the fact that the girl has manifestly been contrite and working to make amends out of her own free will, and he benefits from her making amends, but he refuses to accept that the person he wants to take revenge on functionally no longer exists. He is trying to inflict his vengeance on someone who perpetually lives her life in repentance, constantly acknowledging how awful she was. Worse yet, every iteration of his revenge plot has involved deceiving her into believing that he wants to bury the hatchet in the first place. Every iteration of his revenge plot involves him interacting, intimately, with this woman he supposedly hates, letting her believe that her genuine contrition-- both the feeling and acts thereof-- is being accepted.

And no, I don't care that she made him jack off on camera at this point. He clearly doesn't care, either-- that's why he's constantly playing Galaga with this girl's eggs.

No idea what strawman you mean, if you read the posts before mine you'll see people either in denial, surprised or cursing the author as if him getting revenge wasn't the main focus of the story. That's what I find extremely funny.

Yeah, it's true that MC clearly isn't sure about his revenge anymore, but it's within the realm of logic to expect a revenge in a revenge story. People truly are channeling the pikachu face meme lmao.

......I don't like where this is going.
That is a smile of someone who no longer feels that her life is worth living.

Look I get that this is a revenge story but like, so much of the buildup has made the story feel like there would be a twist. We had several chapters of MC's thought bubbles turning progressively white even!
Hells, even the girl he wants to get revenge on has clearly grown as a person!

And we're supposed to see all that and just assume that the worst written, least developing, most devoid of growth element of the entire manga is the MC??
That's like the last interesting possible outcome from so much buildup. There is no twist, the last 30-something chapters are meaningless, and we got weeks of chapters with nothing but a punch for a conclusion??

If the plan was always that in the end, then this is a waste of pages. MC had no growth, barely changed as a person. He's a bitter fuck who sat on the idea of hurting someone and nothing else for way too long while the world changed around him for the better.

I'm still gonna hate-read this because it takes more than that to make me stop huffing hopium at this point, but right now fuck the MC and fuck the author.
