MC is so forward thinking and mindful even in his passionate forays with yokai, that I'm honestly curious how he's gonna tackle the mesugaki on the volume 2 cover.
I guess "Yokai means any normative taboos go out the window", but I guess we'll see.
I did like the "modern twist" on the Kappa's penchant for removing soul orbs from the anus. Very cheeky (heh) to simply phase that out in favor of the "updated" insertion for the purposes of spicing up the sexy fun times.
But it's very neat to see how fully immersive he is in his work, and that it's not just for the sake of bedding yokai everywhere he goes. Revitalizing towns and helping both yokai and humans (like with chapter 3), showing that he genuinely cares and seeks to both understand and "do good", is a great premise for an ecchi supernatural series that gives it lots of room to grow, as well.
Anyway thanks for the TL.
